Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a new process and methodology by which architects, engineers, and contractors work collaboratively to design and build commercial buildings utilising the same database and computer model. It offers a digital representation of the real facility, including function systems (HVAC, drinking fountains), as well as aesthetics (walls, roof, windows).
